In India, common scams include fake calls pretending to be from banks or telecom companies, false lottery wins, fake KYC (Know Your Customer) update requests, UPI frauds, and fraudsters pretending to be family members or government officials on WhatsApp or SMS.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cPost scam reimbursement\u201d means trying to recover your lost money by acting quickly\u2014informing your bank, reporting to authorities, and following rules laid out by Indian banks, police, and cybercrime agencies.<\/span><\/p>\n<h4><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Step-by-Step Actions for Scam Victims:<\/span><\/h4>\n<ol>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Report the Fraud Immediately<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Time is very important.
